How old do we have to be?
You need to be 25 or older with a valid driver's license and credit card to rent the equipment and drive/operate. Renters take full responsibility for the equipment they rent and who they let ride.
Are the vehicles easy to drive?
Yes, they have automatic transmissions, which makes driving the trails a breeze.
How do I know where to go?
We provide a trail map of the local area trails. Please be sure to only ride on approved trails. For your safety, all ATVs are equipped with GPS trackers so we know where you are at all times.
Do we have to wear goggles or helmets?
Yes helmets are required. You are more than welcome to bring your own DOT approved helmet if you already have your own. Bicycle helmets are not acceptable. Eye protection is also required. We provide many sizes of both.
What if I am a beginner?
There are trails to fit everyone from novices to advanced enthusiasts.
What do I need to bring?
Driver’s license with picture ID for all potential drivers, major credit card, camera is a given, and binoculars are great, too.
Do I have to purchase the damage waiver?
Yes, Basic damage waiver is only $20 per rental unit. You can purchase premium damage waiver for an additional fee of $30 per rental unit.
Basic damage waiver: the renter is responsible for the first $3,000 of any damage to the vehicle (including parts, labor, loss of use). All additional damage charges will be waived. Premium damage waiver: the renter is responsible for the first $1,500 of any damage to the vehicle (including parts, labor, loss of use). All additional damage charges will be waived.
On the day of your rental, Denali Toy Rentals will charge the full damage out-of-pocket amount based on the Damage Waiver you purchased. The full amount MUST be available to rent the units. NO EXCEPTIONS. Once the vehicle is returned and inspected for possible damage or abuse and no signs of damage or abuse are found, the credit card funds will be immediately released. If there is any damage or abuse detected, we will keep the damage waiver funds hold in place to allow a mechanic time to inspect and report all damages.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes, the renter's credit card will be saved on file and WILL have a hold placed on their card (on the day of rental) for the security deposit in the amount of $1,500 or $3,000 per vehicle - depending on damage waiver level. Once the vehicle is returned and inspected for possible damage or abuse and no signs of damage or abuse are found, the credit hold will be immediately released. If there is any damage or abuse detected, we will keep the security deposit hold in place to allow a mechanic time to inspect and report all damages. If the ATV is rolled or put on the side, you automatically lose your deposit, as the cost of repairs will be more than the deposit hold.
What if it rains?
Rentals go out rain or shine, but dressing for the weather is always best.
What if I get stuck or run out of gas?
We have a $200 Recovery Fee (1st hour, $100/hour after) if we need to come out and assist you.
